Marketing Your Certifications and Licenses to Promote Your Business
In this online webinar, green industry professionals who hold various certifications and licenses can learn how to use their qualifications before, during, and after jobs to build their businesses and prevent customer complaints. This includes proper use of the certification/license numbers, improving customer communication during a job, and leaving customers with clear instructions at the end of the job. Together, the tips and guidance in this talk help protect the health, safety and welfare of the public; further efficient green industry standards; and improve business practices.
Speaker: Kim Strazisar, Executive Director, NCUFC
Kim Strazisar is the current executive director of the North Carolina Urban Forest Council. She has 25 years of communication experience, and has spent the last 15 years dedicated to promoting and educating North Carolina’s Green Industry. Before joining NCUFC, Kim provided communication services and advice to the North Carolina Landscape Contractors’ Licensing Board, North Carolina Urban Forest Council, Johnston County Nursery Marketing Association, and North Carolina Green Industry Council. She also spent six years as Communications Director of the North Carolina Nursery & Landscape Association. Kim received her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Political Science from Western Michigan University.
